A second-hand price on its own tells you nothing about value: £300 is cheap for one driver and dear for another. This ranks on the price a club typically goes for now, measured from every sighting we have recorded, divided by what it cost new in the UK. Ranking on the single cheapest listing instead would just put whichever club has one desperate seller at the top, which is a fact about a seller and not about a club.

You pay is the typical price now as a share of the UK launch price, so 30% means a club that cost £500 new typically changes hands at £150. Lower is more club per pound. Released is there because it is the other half of the answer: last season's flagship falling further than this season's is not a flaw in the ranking, it is the whole reason the ranking is worth reading. How much that matters to you is a judgement we are not going to make with a weighted score you cannot check.
We have not tested these clubs and this is not a performance ranking. What each one was at launch is a matter of record and is stated on its row with a source. Everything in the price columns is measured from listings we track: 13 models have a verified UK launch price, and only those can appear here. Several were researched and left out because no UK launch price could be confirmed, which is a better outcome than a plausible guess in the denominator of every ratio on the page.
