Build a golf bag, priced live

Pick the clubs you want. We show the cheapest live listing for each one across 16 UK shops and eBay, and add it up - so you know what the bag costs before you commit to the first club.

We do not buy clubs and this is not an offer. It is what the market says your gear is worth - which is the number worth having before a shop tells you theirs.

Building a full 14-club golf bag costs roughly £600 used or £2,500 new in the UK. Pick each club here and we total the cheapest listing that is live right now across every shop we track, so you know the price of the whole bag before you commit to the first club.

Building a bag

How much does it cost to build a golf bag?
Pick your fourteen clubs and we add up the cheapest live listing for each one across eBay and the UK retailers we track. A used bag of playable brand-name clubs typically comes to around £600 to £1,200; the same clubs new are usually two to three times that.
What clubs do I need in a golf bag?
A common fourteen is a driver, a 3-wood, a hybrid, irons from 5 to pitching wedge, three wedges and a putter. That is thirteen or fourteen depending on how many irons your set covers, which is why the bag on this page counts them for you against the limit.
Is it cheaper to buy clubs individually or as a set?
Iron sets are almost always cheaper per club than the same irons bought singly. Everything else - driver, wedges, putter - is priced individually anyway, so the saving is in shopping each one across every shop rather than buying a package from one.

How the numbers are worked out

What's it worth

Every price we have ever recorded for that exact product - same brand, model, variant, flex and loft - averaged, with the top and bottom tenth cut off so one badly listed item cannot swing it. The count is shown on every row, because an average of three sightings and an average of eighty are not the same claim.

Build my bag

The cheapest listing that is live right now, per product, across every shop we watch. No history: on the buying side a month-old average would cost you money.

When we have to guess

Some products have no history and nothing live. Rather than drop them, we take the median of the closest peer group we trust - same category, same brand, same condition - and label the row an estimate. The total says how much of itself is estimated.

Single irons, honestly

Most single irons reach us without an iron number in the title, so a 4-iron and a 9-iron of the same model are currently one product here and carry the same price. Add each iron you own as its own line - the count will be right - but treat a single-iron figure as the model's typical price rather than that specific iron's. Sets are unaffected.

Fourteen clubs

Rule 4.1b: you cannot start a round with more than fourteen. The bag draws a position for every club that exists - a 1-iron through a 9-iron and all four wedges - so there are more slots than you are allowed clubs, and the count under the bag is where the rule is enforced. Add a fifteenth and we will still price it, and still tell you it is a fifteenth. A bag, trolley, rangefinder, balls, glove or shoes are not clubs and do not count.
